Thanks! I didnt really see any significant improvement. I ran SDLBench from os4depot. ![]() My results seems noticably lower than Slayer and radovs? http://forum.hyperion-entertainment.b ... 2&hilit=9250+64bit#p16032 Any thoughts? Edited by ddni on 2014/1/9 11:49:01

Will try SDLBench (through SysMon, of course ;) ) this evening. Just a thought, I tried 3 R9250 cards before. Did yours is a 64 bits or 128bits version ? Is yours, a "new" one ? I tried, 2 new ones bought on ebay (red color), 64 and 128bits but the both were very slow and display was bad. After that I bought an old one (green color) and it was really better. |

Dont know about the 64 or 128 bit question. However it is new from ebay and is red... Here are my gfxbench2d results (800x600) http://hdrlab.org.nz/benchmark/gfxbench2d/OS/AmigaOS/Result/1301 My Ragemem Write 32/64 result looks odd? ![]() Fixed that! For some reason, my x1000 left amigakit with three 2GB RAM sticks. 2 to the left and one to the right of the cpu. I pulled the "odd" stick from the machine. Write 32/64 is now same as the comparison x1000 in ragemem. Edited by ddni on 2014/1/9 12:43:15

It's normal, you use a pci (low bus) and sam440 internal bus agp (high bus) and the M9 speedup compare an 9250 ![]() Hunoppc |

Your SysMon RageMem looked good, no ? (just width more the window) My SDLbench results : EDIT : I forgot to remove my HD card before to make the SDLBench => results were for HD6670 card. Too lazy to unpug my HD6670... |

The ragemem results in the picture are BAD look at the Write 32/64 I had to remove a RAM stick to fix that. (Resizing the window does not let the missing figures appear. Seems to be abug?) |

"(Resizing the window does not let the missing figures appear. Seems to be abug?)" If you width up the window, you don't see the whole number for Cache L1 Read 64 and write 64 ? Regarding your SysMon grab, actually you see "1363" and "1363" but it miss a number, it should be "1363x". You don't see it even if you size up the window ? |

No, I don't see the extra numbers if I resize the window. The panel with the numbers on stays the same size. |

Hello all
You can also test your 3D card with Aminet/Cow3D As it dont use SDL nor MiniGL but only basic Warp3D so it give the maximum speed you can expect with your card (with a Warp3D driver. I hope a Gallium3D driver will be faster...) Running simply cow3D give an fps value : it is a transform+draw speed (cpu speed + bus speed + gpu speed) Then type 'b' it will bufferize the animation (ie no more calculate the cow rotation) and give an other fps value = this one is the "draw" speed only (bus speed + gpu speed) Alain Thellier |

Yes you are right, with big fonts, frames are too much small. Fixed with % resizables frames, thank you @thellier Tried Cow3D.ppc on my X1000-R9250. As you know, it stalls my system after few times. But I reach 17fps for 4-5 intervals before to freeze. |

Can anyone tell me how to fix the missing icon in Huno's Star trek archive? I get a screwdriver icon but Huno assures me there should be an icon... Incidentally, I do see the screwdriver icon quite a lot. I suspect I am missing a library of some sort. |

Thanks. I did not have the iconmodule drawer in my libs: I have created it and installed png.iconmodule there. Following a reboot, I still see the screwdriver icon. |
