Found that I get a system lock up if i go to View/Settings then click on the green plus to add a Player. Then cancel the requestor, the system locks up.

It has happened to me on 3 occasions, but is not constantly reproducible.
I am trying to see if it is linked to something else running along side SMTube.

Latest SMTube, 4.1FE, X1000. I haven't edited any config files.

Yes, very nice. It's coming nicer and more useful than previous SMTube.

It lacks only differents video quality for each players and the possibility to read videos comments and it will be perfect.

Good to see that now most functionalities are working, however still some random freeze here and there (probably caused by the LibQtWebKit usage) .. atleast one happen when you close the program, not all the time of course but it happen ...

After watching a video and quit SMTube I got the following message, is this normal?

This error is not in SMTube himself but in QtWebKit.

Do you encounter that everytime ?
Does it crash your system ?

I encounter it only in SMTube, and nowhere else in QT programs, and it does not crash my system.

Also, if I run SMTube and quit it without watching a single video I get this output:

Haha yep "crossing my fingers" was and still always my default solution

The error i got at exit is the same of the one reported by Phantom, however after that message here it freeze aswell, let's hope it will be "autofixed" with the next SMTube !

I think you can't ... SMTube opens MPlayer for any of its streams and no real GUI is present, when you play a video of course a video output will be opened so you can pause, stop somethings etc, but when you stream an audio you have nothing for interact of ...
