Something 'undocumented' in Update 3 that I discovered is:
* Sys:Prefs/Fonts now uses the WB background when showing a preview of the "Workbench icon font" in the font requester. Kinda cool ![]() Somethings still not fixed, which I thought were going to be: * After a reboot, DefIcons does not set the type of files left-out on the WB screen. * An "always in front" window (like Ringhio windows) prevent other windows from being depth arranged. * (Apparently) Ringhio windows still stop Public screens from automatically closing (despite being set to in Sys:Prefs/Screens). EDIT: No, this has been fixed. Edited by ChrisH on 2011/9/6 22:08:42

To be more precise: there more or less no documentation for new functionality...
![]() * "Find" has some GUI and function additions... * LogViewer |

I just noticed "Force synchronous refresh of window contents" in Sys:Prefs/GUI > Options (not sure what this does - probably too much to hope it fixes VSync on Composited windows?).
I also think "Gadget redraw method" may not have been there before. Looks like they fixed the ASL horizontal scrolling bug? My AmigaInput prefs may have been reset? DefIcons still does not support automated (Shell) merging of prefs files (or any Shell options at all). |

@ChrisH
GUI Prefs hasn't been updated! There is a new (as in "we never had this before") table.image and bz2.library USB Inspector now shows device power usage. |

Check everything is installed correctly. application.library 53.12 (2.5.10) RinghioServer: Ringhio 53.22 (8.7.11) @thread I'm wondering what is this table.image as well. |

I made the table.image class for one of my projects, and gave the source to Hypersion.
This class simple allocates a user definded rows and columns table where you can put text. You can think of it as a static spreadsheet or if you know HTML its works just like tabels. Each cell here you can specify Text font, color, alignment. I can't remember if I added Gfx support for the cells, it was on the todo list. RWO |

Looks like LogViewer uses it. I also notice the annoying "can't drag anything in MUI whilst TuneNet is playing" bug has been fixed, |

I wonder if DMA copy is implemented for the sam440.
In update 2, the copymem() and copymemquick() functions were dreadfully slow. |

1. Make sure BetterCloseScreen isn't running 2. Open an application that opens it's own public screen (I was using NetSurf, but I'm sure any other app will show the same problem - however I'd advise against testing anything which uses the Screens Prefs functionality - as that has some other open/close mechanism which may not show the fault (haven't checked). NetSurf 2.7 had a bug so may not close its own screen properly, so don't test with that either!) 3. Wait for a notification on that public screen 4. Close the app so it should close the screen 5. Despair when the screen stays open because the notification was present |

(missed replying to this one earlier) Quote: Are you sure? I still can't drag'n'drop any emails in SimpleMail while a Ringhio notification is on screen. What test are you using? 1. Start up TuneNet 2. Play something 3. Drag emails in YAM from Inbox to some other folder Works here, never used to. |

1. Make sure BetterCloseScreen isn't running I removed BetterCloseScreen from my user-startup, yet both RA-OWB (non-mui) & SimpleMail (mui) close their screens after the notification disappears. However, I still cannot drag'n'drop in SimpleMail with a notification open. Not sure if it makes any difference, but Compositing is disabled on non-Workbench screens. |

Can you elaborate on these two? I don't understand what you mean. Quote: * After a reboot, DefIcons does not set the type of files left-out on the WB screen. How can you check the type of the leftout icon? Quote: DefIcons still does not support automated (Shell) merging of prefs files (or any Shell options at all). |
